Great Condition, very reliable, Fairings , fenders and Gas Tank have been professionally custom painted red, White & Blue. Stars are under the Clear Coat. Beautifully Done. Includes Corbin Cafe Racer Seat. History said the top end was completely rebuilt at 24,420 (see picture) Includes original workshop manual. Also comes with hard bags (white) original mirrors and air filter box. Fun bike to ride. Starts right up, everything runs and works as it should. As with a bike this old , it is not perfect, but pretty close. I am selling because the garage is getting full, this is my 3rd, and I am picking up a 4th soon (BMW R90S) Deposit of $500.00 is due 48 hours after auction closes. Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad
Fri, 04 May 2012BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.
