BMW R-Series description

1972 BMW R75/5 Scrambler completely custom Scrambler. This bike is truly ONE-OF-A-KIND! 60k original miles and garage kept always. One of the last produced in the BMW facility in Munich. I have taken great time and consideration with this motorcycle. I have over 300 hours into the bike and a couple thousand dollars in custom work alone. This has been my favorite bike I've ever owned. Starts up first time, every time. Bike is in 100% working order with no problems. BMW mechanic went through the bike piece by piece with me and I will give you his contact info to verify. All work was done by Palmer and Kurt Lynch of Lynch Cycles in Atlantic Beach.

This bike is fast and fun and is a guaranteed head turner.

New parts installed in June 2016:

Shinko All-Terrain tires front and rear
Betro gas shocks from Spain installed in rear
Custom front spring suspension in forks
K&N Performance oil filter with Schaffer's synthetic oil
New Custom made seat
New Tail light and turn signals
Custom license plate bracket
New grips
New bar end mirrors
New steering dampner
Tank painted army matte green
New rock guard and bar on custom headlight
New shorty exhaust pipes and wrap
Engine block paint
New acid battery
Rims trued
Carbs were cleaned, jetted and tuned

This bike wasn't just made to look tough, it is fully functional as well. Meant to be driven off road or in the sand or on road. The suspension is extremely responsive and the tires grip like glue.

If you are looking for all the original parts to the bike I still have them and they are included. This bike is bullet-proof and I always stand behind what I sell. This bike will increase in value as the years pass and is a true investment piece.

2022 BMW R18B (And R18 Transcontinental) Review - First Ride

Wed, 01 Sep 2021

Fast Facts Drivetrain unchanged from original R18 Self-leveling rear ride height Adaptive cruise control Amazing TFT screen Phone-based navigation Tank holds 6.3 gallons for 304 mile calculated range MSRP $22,590 (base) Riding 1,475 miles to see if the BMW R18B has the bagger chops to ease into this competitive market Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing As I pull the 2022 BMW R18B out of the underground parking of the hotel where BMW had hosted its new model introduction, I wonder if a 7:30 departure still qualifies as my crack-of-dawn goal. Within a couple of blocks, I’m fully embroiled in the peak Denver commuter bump-and-grind. Still, I settle into an easy rhythm of following the mechanical voice instructions paired with their informative visual counterparts on the massive TFT screen.

2022 BMW K1600 GT Christmas Chiseler Tour

Fri, 13 Jan 2023

Its not easy being a cheapskate on a $25,000 motorcycle Chrissy Rogers and I were toying with the idea of a pre-Christmas blast up the Pacific coast to Hearst Castle for a few days while business was slow, since the weather was an impeccable partly cloudy and 60-ish degrees. That or maybe the Ruta de Vino down Mexico way? Maybe hop in the new-to-me 23-year old Jaguar?

South West Motorcycle Show 2010, August 28th & 29th

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

Need something to do on August Bank Holiday weekend, then read below: "Although the South West Motorcycle Show has been running at the Westpoint Arena for the last sixteen years, 2010 is the first year that the show hosts the all-new Vertical Trix European Stunt Championship. The show contains all the usual attractions that have been delivered to motorcyclists from over the south-west and further afield since 1994 – including all the appropriate trade stands, and with strong support from local dealers – plus attractions such a a dyno on site, restaurant, bar, bike displays, live music and of course the live action arena. Although the action in the show arena has previously been stunt displays, rather than a full-on competition.
