This beautiful BMW boxer twin motorcycle is one of those manufactured in Berlin, Germany by BMW in 1972. The /5 "airhead" models are air cooled, four stroke, opposed twin, boxer engine hemispherical combustion chambers. Rust free, well cared for, always garage kept motorcycle looking for an owner that appreciates an asset that will continue to gain value. This 44 year old airhead is more than a classic and ready to roll for many years to come. Included with this motorcycle that I received as a gift from my father in law is a brand new R60/5 clutch disc. This motorcycle starts great however I'm not a motorcycle expert and I don't ride like I said it's a gift. This motorcycle is SOLD AS IS! Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title.
