BMW R-Series description

Offering an excellent example of a very reliable classic motorcycle. Here are some specifics:

This is the short wheel base model
It has the "US" handlebars installed, which provide for a more upright riding position
It has the "toaster" gas tank
The speedo was sent to Palo Alto speedo for overhaul and to convert it to the retro black on white face
Has the Boyer electronic ignition mod
The clutch was replaced, and the carbs were overhauled less than five thousand miles ago
The tires are a month old, and the bearings and rear drive spline were greased
The seat was recovered two years ago
Has the Reynolds ride off center stand
Has a Shoei lithium-ion battery - much lighter than a lead acid or AGM
I have the original owner's manual, tool kit and keys.

If you're looking for a classic motorcycle that is bullet-proof reliable and fun to ride, this is the bike.

Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. What’s worse, seemingly innocent or off-the-cuff remarks can be picked up by a third party and spread like wildfire.
