HERE'S A GREAT RUNNING 1966 R50/2 WITH A LATER R60/2 ENGINE. IN AN LOCAL ESTATE SALE WE PURCHASED VINTAGE BIKES FROM A ELDERLY COLLECTOR IN SOUTHWEST CT. OUR SHOP GAVE THIS BIKE A THOROUGH TUNE-UP, INCLUDING A NEW COIL, CARBS REBUILD, VALVE ADJUST AND RETIMED THE ENGINE. IT'S A ONE KICK START BIKE AND RUNS GOOD. 120 PSI COMPRESSION IN BOTH CYLINDERS. HAS GOOD WORKING ELECTRICS AND HELLA BAR ENDS. TIRES ARE OLDER. KICKER OCCASIONALLY GETS CAUGHT AT TOP AND RELEASES WHEN CLUTCH HANDLE IS PULLED IN. FIM Eases WSBK Homologation Requirements

With the 2014 World Superbike Championship now under way, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) announced a change in the homologation procedure for new motorcycles entering the series. The new regulations requires a minimum of 125 units produced in order to begin the homologation process. By the end of the first year of participation, manufacturers must have produced 250 units.

While some fortunate souls who live south of the Mason-Dixon line are able to ride their beloved beasts all year long, some are forced to put their hogs into hibernation by mother nature come winter time. Although most motorcyclists have little use for wintry weather, autumn is a truly beautiful time of year to ride. Granted, the days become shorter and the wind colder, but navigating your way through winding roads amid the vibrant colors of changing leaves is enough of a reward within itself.
