BMW R-Series description

Here is a nice example of a 1964 BMW R69S. The last of the /2 Sport bikes and one of the post war holy grail motorcycles. The motorcycle has been restored by me over the last few months. I have gone through alot of expense to build this bike with some very nice rare parts. The bike features a 6.2 gallon Schorsh Meyer sport tank with locking gas cap, New Denfeld Solo Saddle, Us Bars, Weinamann high lip alloy rims with Buchanan stainless spokes, new metzler tires, fender mount luggage rack, rebuilt speedometer. The numbers on the frame and engine match, I have added a new number plate to the frame neck. This bike starts up with one kick and runns out well. I have changed the clutch and the trans shifts up and down flawlessly. The final drive has 25/8 gears. I have installed a new fork lock and have a fullset of keys with a repro new owners manual. I am unsure of the mileage the speedo I used is one I had rebuilt from another bike. My guess is that the mileage is a whole lot less than the 58k showing on the speedo , the bike was off the road since 1984. If there are any questions or to come see this bike call Gene at 757-818-5679.

How to murder an HP2 Sport

Some bikes and cars should be left entirely stock; left unchanged from the way the factory intended them to be. In purchasing them you should understand that. I could produce a list of vehicles that should be taken off the owner if they modified them in any way but I'll save you the boredom.
