I got this bike with a froze engine. It took some doing but I removed the old pistons,then bought a set of R60/2 Pistons and was putting it back together when I learned it is an R60 BMW and not a /2.About 90 thou out of the jug at TDC.I got the correct pistons $475.00 w/ shipping. So now it just needs to be finished and restored. I found a full set of Wixom Lower Fairing and Upper handle bar mount Fairing and wind sheld. If you have questions email or call me 319-463-7489. Because will no longer need it I am adding the motorcycle lift I have.

WSBK: 2012 Miller Results
Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. BMW Concept e Electric Scooter Revealed

Details are still to come but these are our first pictures of the new BMW Concept e electric scooter. The electric maxi-scooter concept rode onto BMW’s main presentation stage along with the Husqvarna E-go youth-oriented electric motorcycle concept.

Wed, 18 Sep 2013TOURATECH now makes an expandable tank bag to match BMW’s R1200GS in red and silver. The touring accessory firm’s "Ambato Exp" tank bag has been on sale for a month but until now only in black or black and white. It features a model-specific base plate for quick-release attachment to the R1200GS, waterproof inserts and Cordura fabric described as “tear proof”.
