BMW CRASH BARS / ENGINE GUARDS Selling a nice set of crash bars. I took these off a 1960 R69. The chrome is in decent condition, minor scuffs. Very usable. Scuffs are on the bottom, not noticeable. Comes with original 4 clamps, the other two you will need are a standard u-bolt clamp that all hardware stores sell for about $2.00. Please do not ask for shipping quotes, this can vary so much, depending on if I'm shipping to Fla or Calif. I would guess that shipping and handling will be around $40-$45. Wed, 09 Oct 2013The folks at Edmunds took the 2014 Corvette Stingray and put it to the test at Willow Springs International Raceway versus its usual competitors: the SRT Viper , Nissan GT-R , Porsche 911 , Porsche Cayman S , Ford Shelby GT500 and the BMW M3 . It looks like the "Stingray vs. The World" title suits the video well, given there is one car from Japan, a few from Europe and another one from the U.S.
EBR Announces More Than 60 Founding Dealers

European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016
Wed, 21 Nov 2012The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
