I'VE OWNED THIS BIKE FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS, AND I'VE REALIZED THAT I'M NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING WITH IT. I'D RATHER USE THE MONEY FOR ANOTHER PROJECT. I FOUND THE BIKE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT A BASEMENT IN GETTYSBURG,PA. THE LAST OWNER PURCHASED IT IN 1969. MUCH OF THE HARDWARE WAS MISSING, SO I HAVE USED GENERIC NUTS AND BOLTS JUST TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A REAL MOTORCYCLE. IF YOU DON'T SEE IT IN THE PICTURES, I DON'T HAVE IT. I'M NOT SURE WHAT THE SEAT IS FOR...I JUST HAVE IT ITTING ON THE FRAME RAILS. THE ENGINE DOES NOT TURN OVER, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY-DON'T BELIEVE IT'S A RUST OR CORROSION ISSUE. I HAVE A CLEAN PA TITLE IN MY NAME ALONG WITH A COPY OF THE PREVIOUS TITLE. I WILL BE ON VACATION FROM 11/20-11/26, BUT I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS BY CELL PHONE. 2013 BMW HP4 Revealed – A Lighter, Track-Oriented S1000RR with Dynamic Damping and Launch Control
Fri, 27 Jul 2012BMW unveiled a new, more track-oriented sportbike based on its highly-successful S1000RR. The new BMW HP4 is an evolution of BMW’s HP2 series with the S1000RR’s inline-four engine. Like the S1000RR, the HP4 claims 190 hp at 13,000 rpm and 83 ft-lb.

Wed, 09 Oct 2013The folks at Edmunds took the 2014 Corvette Stingray and put it to the test at Willow Springs International Raceway versus its usual competitors: the SRT Viper , Nissan GT-R , Porsche 911 , Porsche Cayman S , Ford Shelby GT500 and the BMW M3 . It looks like the "Stingray vs. The World" title suits the video well, given there is one car from Japan, a few from Europe and another one from the U.S.
2013 BMW C600 Sport Fairing Recall Extended to US
Mon, 10 Dec 2012Last week, Transport Canada issued a recall on the 2013 BMW C600 Sport due to a risk of the scooter’s side fairings coming loose at high speeds. The recall has now reached the U.S., with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announcing a recall. According to documents released by NHTSA, the three “snap-lock” fasteners securing the left and right side trim panels may not have sufficient strength to hold the fairing in place at speeds higher than 100 mph.
