2007 BMW K1200R Sport 4900mis ANTILOCKING BRAKES Brakes Warmed grips OEM BMW Tank Bag Front tire is original Pirelli in very terrific condition. Rear tire is Michelin Pilot Road three with about 750mis in superb condition. Mint condition with the following exceptions: 1. XM satellite antenna (not included) was previously installed on the left-side fairing. It left 2 small holes and some scratches when it was removed. See photo. 2. Tie down hooks scratched the handlebar triple-clamp. Affected spots have been touched up with silver paint. See photo. 3. Fuel gauge is not working. Very common issue for BMWs of this vintage. Google search "BMW fuel strip" to learn all about this. Bike is all stock with no modifications. 163HP according to BMW. 0-60mph in under three seconds. It's an absolute rocket. I never had that moment of discovery and finding out 'who I really am' and to some extent it's a regret. The third instalment of the Indian action blockbuster Dhoom became the highest grossing Indian film of all time. More interesting than that are the laughable bike scenes, with Dhoom 3 featuring one chase scene between a K1300R and a S1000RR. In the first Dhoom film a Hayubasu magically transformed into 125cc bike for a train jump.

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
