Very low miles 4447 Never dropped or raced Upgraded exhaust and rear fender eliminator 1000cc Annual service was completed last week, also, the rear tire is new. The 2012 BMW S1000RR is still the king of the horsepower charts for the third year running with a 175 ponies on tap. S1000RR finished at the bottom with 73.7 lb-ft of torque. That power pushed the 456-pound blue Beemer to a class-leading 0-60 in 3.347 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 10.81 seconds at 147.7 MPH. The traction control system of the S1000RR is seamlessly integrated into the four power modes, with the most intervention in Rain mode and the least in Race. On the street the electronic intervention is only noticeable in Rain mode and maybe in Sport if you really are pushing. Its nice to know you have a safety net if something unexpected happens. Our only real gripe is that the wheelie control still comes on too abruptly and brings the front end down prematurely Unit is located in Fort Hood, TX.

Back in the Black Photos by Fabio Polimeni In November 2022 Italian trophy brand MV Agusta, wholly owned since 2019 by Russian entrepreneur Timur Sardarov and his family, and Pierer Mobility AG – KTM’s parent company – reached an agreement on ‘future strategic cooperation’, as a result of which the Austrian firm headed by Stefan Pierer would acquire a 25.10% stake in MV Agusta via its KTM AG subsidiary. At the first meeting of the newly constituted MV Agusta board on November 15, a capital increase of €30 million was agreed, denoting the sum KTM had paid to acquire its new minority shareholding in the company. As part of this strategic alliance KTM took charge of purchasing all components needed to manufacture MV Agusta’s entire range of models, as well as responsibility for marketing, distribution and after-sales service for MV Agusta on a global basis outside Italy.

The Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission (Y-AMT) system allows for quick shifting without the need for a manual clutch lever, with Yamaha claiming more consistently faster and precise shifting than the latest quickshifters currently available. Y-AMT isn’t Yamaha’s first foray into automatic shifting.

Each build draws inspiration from Indian Scouts from the past, while showcasing the new model’s potential as a platform for customization. The first episode sees Roland Sands and Aaron Boss of RSD conceptualizing a build inspired by Ed Kretz, who won the inaugural Daytona 200 in 1937 on an Indian Scout.

Updated model gets certified by CARB After being absent from the 2024 offerings, the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is poised to return to American Honda’s lineup for 2025 with the updates introduced at EICMA. The Fireblade SP was last offered in the U.S. as a 2023 model, and when Honda announced an updated version last November, we were disappointed to hear nary a peep from American Honda about the superbike.
