BMW Other tech info
BMW Other description
2012 BMW S1000RR, Looking for a S1000RR? Don???t look too much farther as you won???t likely find another one this clean, young, well cared for, freshly serviced and nicely accessorized and priced this well anywhere at least in our opinion. Sold new at Bob???s in July of 2012 the owner just never found the time to really go out and play as he???d anticipated so his loss is your opportunity. The 600 mile break in service was performed in September of the same year. We just performed the full Annual Service per BMW specifications, ran it through our extensive PPI process and the Maryland State Inspection and took it out for a very thorough test ride to insure it???s up to the high standards at Bob???s. It???s still covered under the BMW original 3 year or 36,000 mile factory warranty which began on 07/06/12 and runs until July 5, 2015 and qualifies for a Zurich extended Service Contract should you wish to have more years and unlimited coverage once it???s your machine. There was an open side stand hardware recall that has also been performed too. This machine is simply stunning because it???s the hard to find all black version including the wheels plus the prior owner added a dark tint screen adding to that Darth Vader look along with R&G frame sliders, recessed turn signals hidden behind the fairing roundels which are very cool and highly visible along with the factory options of Race ABS and DTC or dynamic traction control, heated grips and gear shift assist. Your acquisition includes 2 spare keys, the owner???s manual and the factory tool kits as supplied when new. It???s a great find so don???t wait too long.

Updates Coming for 2022 BMW K1600 Models
Tue, 05 Oct 2021Euro 5 updates and more for six-cylinder K bikes The R18 Transcontinental and R18 Bagger have been getting a lot of attention lately, as BMW‘s foray into large-displacement cruiser touring segment. Getting somewhat lost, however, are BMW’s existing K1600 range, which used to be the company’s representatives in the touring category. While still part of BMW’s lineup, the six-cylinder models have not been updated since the 2017 model year, not even receiving any changes to meet Euro 5 standards that came into effect last year.
2013 BMW C600 Sport Fairing Recall Extended to US
Mon, 10 Dec 2012Last week, Transport Canada issued a recall on the 2013 BMW C600 Sport due to a risk of the scooter’s side fairings coming loose at high speeds. The recall has now reached the U.S., with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announcing a recall. According to documents released by NHTSA, the three “snap-lock” fasteners securing the left and right side trim panels may not have sufficient strength to hold the fairing in place at speeds higher than 100 mph.
Triumph Teases 2025 Speed Twin RS
Tue, 03 Sep 2024A sportier Modern Classic is on the way Triumph has released teasers for a new addition to its Modern Classics lineup, which we believe to be a 2025 Speed Twin RS. No announcement date was provided, but we suspect the full reveal will be coming in the next month or so. The teasers, sent out on Triumph’s social media channels and an email update sign-up page on its official website, show a familiar-looking fuel tank shape with the letters “RS” clearly displayed.
