With an aluminum bridge, radial brakes, a super sporty tail-up nose-down design, hot colors and the ultimate combination of electronic rider assistance. The Race ABS, includes four modes, two for the road and two for the track, a banking rotation speed, gear-related Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) which allows slip. Never before has it been so easy to keep so much power under control. This is as true on public roads as it is on the racetrack. Who's Where: Pierre Leclercq is Great Wall's VP and design director

Pierre Leclercq has been appointed vice president and head of design at Great Wall Motors. Splitting his time between the company's studio in Baoding, China, and a Shanghai-based satellite studio, he reports directly to chairman Wei Jianjun. In his role he‘s responsible for the design of the brand globally and leads a team of 130 designers in Baoding as well as 25 in the Shanghai studio.

Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad

BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.

German fire engine and pump manufacturer Rosenbauer have utilised the ubiquitous BMW 1200 boxer engine to produce a powerful and lightweight water pump. The engine runs as normal, using it's torqey qualities to power the high pressure waterpump attached. Firefighters can carry this compact pump closer to the fire, and go where the normal fire engine cannot reach.
