2011 Bmw R 1200 R Classic, BEAUTIFUL BIKE! BAGS SCREEN CAST PAINTED WHEELS CHROME MUFFLER LOW MILES DON'T MISS THIS ONE! - BMW Motorrad is continuing its long tradition of roadster building with the new BMW R 1200 R and R 1200 R Classic and presents the revised successor models to the successful R 1200 R. Both combine a modern sporty and classical motorcycle design with greater riding enjoyment. Generating higher torque, the new boxer engine provides an extra boost of power. The new BMW R 1200 R models deliver greater power and acceleration at the top rpm range, whereas the boxer in the predecessor model had already provided superior acceleration under all conditions. Derived from the BMW HP2 Sport, the new boxer with 1,170 cubic centimeters and DOHC valve gear, is the same as the engines in the BMW R 1200 GS and BMW R 1200 RT. Thanks to ultra-modern technology, the new BMW roadsters are unique in the roadster segment. Whereas the basic version of the BMW R 1200 R emphasizes the sporty all-around character with new cast light alloy wheels, the R 1200 R Classic presents wire spoke wheels for a touch of refined nostalgia.

2025 Honda NT1100 Updated for Europe, but Still Not Coming Here

Fri, 04 Oct 2024

More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.

Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.

New car firm shows interest in bikes too

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

NORMALLY we wouldn’t get terribly excited about an electric moped but this as-yet-unreleased design comes from a new firm that’s already making waves in the car industry. Qoros might not be a name you’re familiar with. The firm has yet to start selling cars in Europe, although that will change soon.
