2013 BMW C600 Sport Recalled in Canada for Loose Fairings

BMW‘s maxi-scooters have only just started going on sale in North America and already there’s a recall for the 2013 BMW C600 Sport in Canada. According to Transport Canada, the fairing side panels on certain BMW C600 Sport scooters can loosen and detach while moving at very high speeds. In such a situation, the detached fairing poses a hazard to the rider and passenger as well as other vehicles and bystanders.

Charley Boorman Tours Canada for New Series

Actor and adventure rider Charley Boorman is getting ready for another journey, this one taking him across the Great White North on a tour of Canada. Best known for his Long Way Round and Long Way Down documentaries with his friend and riding partner Ewan McGregor, Boorman is touring Canada for a new series called Extreme Frontiers: Canada for the U.K.’s Channel 5. BMW Motorrad Canada will provide Boorman with his ride, likely from its GS line.

More tech for the Ténéré For 2025, Yamaha has brought technology first seen on the MT-07 to its CP2 Twin-sharing sibling, the Ténéré 700. In addition to Yamaha’s Chip Controlled Throttle (see: ride-by-wire), the T7 also gets updated styling, suspension, and ergonomics – all of which sound promising, but is more tech what Ténéré customers are looking for? Yamaha’s switch to a ride-by-wire throttle has opened up options for throttle maps and traction control settings, but cruise control is still suspiciously absent.
