2010 BMW Custom S100RR, This is a unique, one of a kind custom BMW S1000RR motorcycle made to look like a vintage BMW caf?? racer. The bike sports an antique BMW look combined with a Naked Bike/Street Fighter look. It has won two awards both years it was entered in the Daytona Boardwalk Show and Maravella, where it was named the overall Hottest Custom. The bike is configured with a more comfortable upright riding position to keep the weight off the rider???s wrists. It is also much cooler on the legs and butt when riding than an original. BMW and Husqvarna to Unveil Concept Models at Frankfurt Auto Show

BMW will unveil an electric scooter concept model and an entry level Husqvarna streetbike concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. The BMW concept, shown in the teaser sketch above, will likely be a version of the E-Scooter electric maxiscooter concept announced in July. BMW claimed the E-Scooter’s liquid-cooled electric motor offers performance similar to a 600cc combustion engine, while the battery casing itself will form the body of the frame.

BMW Reports Record Sales in 2012

BMW reported a record year for motorcycle sales, supplying 106,358 motorcycles and scooters in 2012. This represents a 2.0% increase from the 104,286 units sold in 2011. Helping BMW reach its new sales record was a strong December which saw sales of 6,069 units worldwide, a 43.4% increase from the 4,232 units sold in December 2011.
