2009 BMW R1200RT, 2009 BMW R1200RT with most all of the factory goodies you could get in 2009 including Anti-locking Brake System, Heated grips and Seats, Electronic Cruise Control, adjustable riders seat, Electric adjustable windshield, detachable saddle bags keyed to ignition along with painted to match larg top case (big$$$), two owner bike purchased locally and we just did a full Annual/12k service and installed brand new tires before puting it on the lot, get a great ride right here folks! Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
Charley Boorman’s BMW R1200 GS Adventure Stolen – and Recovered
Fri, 27 Apr 2012Adventure touring documentary star Charley Boorman and his BMW R1200GS Adventure have traveled a long way together, but the motorcycle had a bit of an adventure on its own after thieves stole the bike. The stolen BMW wasn’t the one Boorman rode with Ewen McGregor in “Long Way Round” (that was a R1150GS Adventure) or the one used in the sequel “Long Way Down“. Boorman did ride it on his last project, “Charley Boorman’s Extreme Frontiers: Canada”.
2013 BMW HP4 Revealed – A Lighter, Track-Oriented S1000RR with Dynamic Damping and Launch Control
Fri, 27 Jul 2012BMW unveiled a new, more track-oriented sportbike based on its highly-successful S1000RR. The new BMW HP4 is an evolution of BMW’s HP2 series with the S1000RR’s inline-four engine. Like the S1000RR, the HP4 claims 190 hp at 13,000 rpm and 83 ft-lb.
