Selling a gently pre-owned BMW R1200RT sport touring motorcycle in exceptional condition. Never been in an accident or fallen over. Black paint is in like new, outstanding condition. Equipment includes: ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM brakes, heated seat, warmed handlebar grips, cruise control, on board computer, white turn indicators, electrically adjustable windshield, two power accessory sockets for driver passenger. Brand new battery just installed. Bike is current with up to date services. Extras included with the bike are a BMW R1200RT tank bag, BMW saddle bag soft liner inserts and lowered foot pegs.

2014 BMW HP2 Roadster Spotted

Spy photographers have snapped a picture of a new retro-styled BMW roadster. Dubbed the BMW HP2 Roadster by Italian site Insella.it which published the grainy photograph, the new boxer-engined streetbike is expected to be officially unveiled at November’s EICMA show in Milan. The spy photo reveals the HP2 Roadster uses BMW’s air-cooled R-series boxer engine and not the new water-cooled engine introduced on the 2013 R1200GS.

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.

A hundred years of BMW Motorrad BMW Motorrad is commemorating its 100th anniversary with the release of Special Heritage editions of the R nineT and R18. BMW will produce 1,923 units of each model, recognizing the debut of the brand’s first motorcycle, the R 32, in September 1923 at the German Motor Show in Berlin. Both models come with a number of chrome and Option 719 parts, including some milled pieces and several paint-on-chrome surfaces.
