2009 Bmw R 1200 GS, A Low Suspension R1200GS that Gives New Meaning to Immaculate and Loaded! This is "one of a kind" - Feasts on pavement. Chews dirt. Demands seconds. Twisties? Touring? Gravel roads? It hardly matters because to the R 1200 GS, the most versatile machine in the 2009 GS lineup. This year, a five-percent increase in power raises its output to 105 ponies for even quicker acceleration. Handling is agile and precise thanks to a Telelever suspension system, and with the 2008 R 1200 GS also gets a few sporty new features that make it even more eye-catching, including stainless steel knee covers on each side of the gas tank, dynamic cylinder covers, as well as an ergonomic aluminum handlebar and a more comfortable seat. The result? A bike that thrashes every road you throw at it and begs for more. This one has ABS II, On Board Computer, Clear Signals, Hand Protectors, Cross Spoke Wheels and Factory Bag Mount system. The accessory list is quite long but deserves to be shared. Included are: Vario Cases with Passenger Backrest, (3 Pc set), Tour a tech Cylindere Protectors, Engine Guards, Bash Plate, Fuel Injector Guards, Driving Lights and Headlight Protector. AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

BMW Announces Trophy for Privateer Racers
Fri, 02 May 2014BMW announced a new competition for privateer racers competing worldwide. Private road racers competing on BMW’s S1000RR or HP4 sportbikes in 15 different series worldwide will earn points based on their results, with the top privateer at the end of the year winning the BMW Motorrad Race Trophy. The trophy represents BMW’s new philosophy towards motorcycle racing which began with the official withdrawal of factory support in the World Superbike Championship.
