BMW Other description

2009 BMW K-Series. This is an absolutely beautiful bike with all the power I ever needed. Ive enjoyed it tremendously but with 2 small kids I dont have time to ride it anymore. It has never been dropped or crashed. I pre-owned to ride year round (there was always warm enough days in January and February to put on my thermals and give the bike some exercise) so it has never been put in store. The battery is brand new this year. This bike has ANTI LOCK BRAKES but not ESA.

2010 BMW S1000RR – First Ride

Fri, 20 Nov 2009

UPDATE:  Full Review now on Motorcycle.com (with video) We just spent the day ripping it up around the fabulous Portimao race circuit in Portugal on BMW’s new S1000RR supersport literbike, and it’s set to blow away perceptions of what a BMW motorcycle is. With 193 crankshaft horsepower and a claimed dry weight of 404 pounds, BMW says the S1000RR has the best power-to-weight ratio of any production bike. And, by the way the S1000 lofts its front wheel onto Portimao’s front straight at 150 mph, we’re becoming believers!

2013 BMW C600 Sport Fairing Recall Extended to US

Mon, 10 Dec 2012

Last week, Transport Canada issued a recall on the 2013 BMW C600 Sport due to a risk of the scooter’s side fairings coming loose at high speeds. The recall has now reached the U.S., with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announcing a recall. According to documents released by NHTSA, the three “snap-lock” fasteners securing the left and right side trim panels may not have sufficient strength to hold the fairing in place at speeds higher than 100 mph.

The Avon 3D Ultra range

As with many things, the world of motorbikes goes in phases. It be might be manufacturers dominating a certain segment of the market or even one country seemingly having a never ending supply of successful racers and the same goes for tyres. Back in the eighties and early nineties if you wanted racing success in the Supersport class Avon tyres would be your most likely weapon of choice.
