2008 BMW R1100RS, This is a very nice well-kept R1100RS with only 50,918 miles. It is factory equipped with ABS and adjustable windshield and the previous owner added bar risers, driving lights and the BMW hard side cases. An enlarged sidestand foot and GPS mount will also be going with the bike (not pictured). The bike is in very good shape with only minor things that prevent it from being near perfect! The bike is scheduled to go into our service department for a safety check but the bike is available to show and test ride in the meantime. BMW R 18 Roctane Confirmed in Homologation Filings
Fri, 31 Mar 2023Evidence suggests a performance cruiser variant BMW is preparing to add a new model to its 1,802cc boxer family, receiving type approval in Switzerland for a new variant called the R 18 Roctane. The type approval data for the Roctane shows much in common with the existing R 18 models, but with some notable differences. For one, the R 18 Roctane has an internal model code of “0N61,” while the model codes for the R 18, R 18 Classic, R 18 B, and R 18 Transcontinental all have model codes beginning with “0L.” This suggests the Roctane differs from the other models in a fairly significant way, either with a chassis update or a different form factor.

The 13th annual event at the Bavarian resort town saw visitors from more than 40 countries join together to celebrate BMW motorcycles. This year’s event was particularly notable for the 90th anniversary of motorcycles bearing the Bavarian Motor Works brand.
BMW Sets New Annual Record for Motorcycle Sales – With One Month Still to Go
Mon, 09 Dec 2013BMW announced sales of 108,872 motorcycles and scooters, shattering last year’s company record for annual sales by 2.4%. Even more impressively, BMW reached that mark by the end of November and still has a whole month’s worth of sales to pad its record. In 2012, BMW sold 106,358 motorcycles and scooters to set a new company record.
