BMW Other description

BMW R1200RT.Being it is a 2007, it is the first year for the much better ABS brake system without the servo motors. The system is lighter, less complicated, and much more reliable. This is one of the main reasons why I bought this bike.It has many options including factory heated grips, factory heated front and rear seats, locking side cases, locking matte silver 49L top case, keyed to the bike, BMW Tankbag (a little rough, but it's yours) Ram Mount cupholder, X-grip cell phone holder with a micro USB charger and to top it off, the Factory Motorrad Navigator navigation system with factory harness. I also added a BMW accessories RT-P LED taillight and a ZTechnik muffler for a little more sound without being obnoxious. Also has a K&N air filter installed. Recent services include a new fuel pump control module, new rear tire and brake system flush. In all, there's about $3,000 in accessories and thousands in maintenance, services and other things.

The Diavel rocks!

Thu, 21 Jul 2011

The Diavel is my new bike of the year. Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.

BMW bling and new mittens

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

An hour and a half in my shed was all it took to bolt two boxes of goodies from R&G Racing on to my S1000RR. The casing covers (£190.00), cotton reels (£25.49 ), frame inserts(£21.00) and crash protectors (£67.99)are a doddle to bolt on and come with all the necessary allen bolts. The multi adjustable rearsets (£350.00) are equally as easy to fit (they must be if I can do it) and also come with clear instructions.
