Tue, 23 Feb 2010I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced. BMW Scooter News Imminent?
Thu, 23 Jun 2011BMW previously announced it will unveil two new scooter models at this fall’s EICMA Show in Milan, but the German manufacturer may have some news for us even sooner. BMW‘s global media site has a new section set up for scooter news. The section is empty at the moment, except for a subsection titled “Scooter Technology”.
Dainese to Develop Airbag-Equipped Riding Gear for BMW; Technology Coming to BMW Motorcycles in 2015
Wed, 17 Jul 2013BMW announced a new joint project with Dainese that would develop a new line of rider equipment using the Italian company’s integrated airbag technology. The two companies will also be working on integrating the technology to BMW’s motorcycles. The new line will make use of Dainese’s D-Air technology developed by MotoGP racers such as Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
