BMW Other description

2007 BMW K1200LT, A simply stunning machine in superb condition just waiting for a new home. This beauty only recently arrived and has just been fully serviced (Inspection II by our master technicians so it has absolutely no scheduled maintenance needs for roughly 6,000 miles until the next service is required, unless as we suggest you do an oil change every 3,000 miles. As an ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED Qualified BMW from Boba??s even the tires should be good for 6,000 or so miles and the rear is brand new. This machine also had its last biannual done at Boba??s just 16 months earlier so therea??s also good history. You might notice, if you have a fine eye for detail that the antenna is a little short a?? it is and a new one has been ordered and is included. Of course it also passed Maryland State Inspection. This machine left BMWa??s manufacturing facility in Berlin in September of 2006. It was delivered to Boba??s BMW in late May of 2007 and was sold and delivered by Boba??s in September of that same year. It only had one very small repair performed under warranty in early 2008 when it had just 1,032 miles on it. It is very nicely equipped making it a very desirable machine ready for some fresh touring and adventures with you in the riders seat. BMW provided this K12LT with ABS, Anti-theft alarm, Xenon lighting, central locking, top case luggage rack with brake light, floor lighting, soft touch two position height riders heated seat, heated grips and heated passenger seat, on board computer, electronic cruise control, adjustable side air vents, electric adjustable windscreen, dual accessory outlets, CD player, FM stereo with remote control, multi-spoke cast alloy wheels, reverse gear, electric center stand, chrome trim package, chrome muffler, intercom outlets for rider and passenger and probably a few things we failed to list.

Copper and leather BMW

Tue, 11 Sep 2012

This leather-coated BMW R51/3 bobber was created by its owner Hugo Ferraro, thanks to help from a Greek leathersmith, Elias Dairis. You either love it or can't stand it. The bike features a custom-made fuel tank, a leaf-spring front-end, standard wheels, a lighter crank and pistons and a hot cam.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
