Additional bits include MRA Windscreen, BMW sport side bags, Akrapovic Exhaust, Kaoko throttle control, side stand enlargement, and tank protector. With one owner and low miles this K1200S is not even broken in. Nice cosmetic condition but does have some scratches on the left side (see pictures). Full maintenance service and new tires just installed here at SWBMW. With enough raw power to shock even the most seasoned adrenaline junky, the K 1200 S hurls you from a dead stop to sixty miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds. BMW Makes ABS Standard Across Entire Lineup

BMW announced it will make anti-lock brakes standard equipment across its entire lineup starting with the 2013 model year. The German manufacturer became the first to introduce ABS into serial production motorcycles in 1988 and now 25 years later, BMW will be the first to offer ABS across all of its models. BMW has already announced two 2013 models that will come with ABS, the updated F800GS and the F700GS.

BMW Reportedly Developing 450cc Racebike

Italian website Motociclismo.it reports BMW is working on a new 450cc racebike to be used in youth racing series at select rounds other World Superbike Championship and the British Superbike Championship. According to the report, the new track-only sportbike will use a 450cc single-cylinder engine, likely the Husqvarna-developed version of the engine used in the BMW G450X. The engine will be mounted in an all-new chassis with racing suspension, wheels and carbon fiber fairing.

BMW Launches New National Television Ad Campaign – Video

BMW Motorrad USA has launched a new national ad campaign, its first in the U.S., according to the company, in over 20 years. The new ad campaign – “Feed Your Restless” – begins today, March 1, and will run more than 1,500 times through June on Velocity, Speed, Fuel TV, the Sportsman Channel, ESPN, ESPNews, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. BMW has produced four commercials for the campaign, three that will run nationally and a fourth for dealers to use for their local markets.
