2009 Bmw R 1200 GS, A Nice Straight R1200GS Fitted with Adventure Black Wheels, Seats, and Adventure Panniers....Nice! - Feasts on pavement. Chews dirt. Demands seconds. Twisties? Touring? Gravel roads? It hardly matters because to the R 1200 GS, the most versatile machine in the 2008 GS lineup. This year, a five-percent increase in power raises its output to 105 ponies for even quicker acceleration. Handling is agile and precise thanks to a Telelever suspension system, and with Enduro ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) you can adjust both front and rear suspensions between sport, normal, comfort, and off-road settings. The 2008 R 1200 GS also gets a few sporty new features that make it even more eye-catching, including stainless steel knee covers on each side of the gas tank, dynamic cylinder covers, as well as an ergonomic aluminum handlebar and a more comfortable seat. The result? A bike that thrashes every road you throw at it and begs for more.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report
Mon, 13 May 2013Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
Michelin Launches New Pilot Road 4 Sport-Touring Tire
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Coming in 2014 is an all-new range of motorcycle tires from Michelin, available in three versions: the Michelin Pilot Road 4, Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT and Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail. Covering virtually every category of sport-touring motorcycle, the Pilot Road 4 line is well suited for motorcycles over 600cc. They were designed to deliver maximum safety in the most common conditions of use, especially on wet roads and in particular when braking. In its press release Michelin also claims extended tire life, which we assume is in comparison to the Pilot Road 3.
