2005 BMW R1200rt , 2005 BMW R1200RT with 40k miles and many upgrades.Stock bike comes from factory with cruise control,heated grips,electronic suspension,servo assisted brakes. 110hp 6spd transmission. Upgrades are,custom Rick Mayer seat (stock one is garbage) larger windshield,longer shifter peg and brake pegs,powder coated blacked out wheels(makes cleaning them a breeze), jet hot coated header pipe black to match wheels,Leo Vince exhaust that takes weight off and gives a better sound (not obnoxious). This bike has never been beat on or seen triple digits on the speedometer under my watch. BMW introduced an inline six-cylinder café racer concept at the 2009 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. Inline-six engines have a staple in BMW’s automobiles for decades and the German manufacturer’s motorcycle division took on the challenge of adapting the straight-six to a bike without making it too long or too wide. The result is the BMW Motorrad Concept 6, and an evolution BMW says “will further expand the K-Series in the foreseeable future”.

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show.
