Episode 1 features RSD build inspired by Ed Kretz Indian is producing a new online video series featuring three custom builds using the new Scout as the starting base. Each build draws inspiration from Indian Scouts from the past, while showcasing the new model’s potential as a platform for customization. The first episode sees Roland Sands and Aaron Boss of RSD conceptualizing a build inspired by Ed Kretz, who won the inaugural Daytona 200 in 1937 on an Indian Scout.

BMW Begins Motorcycle Production in Thailand

BMW has opened a new motorcycle assembly line at the company’s factory in Thailand. The facility will initially only produce F800R roadsters from complete knock-down kits for the Thai market, though BMW plans to eventually make the facility a production hub for other Asian markets. The Thai facility is BMW’s first wholly-owned motorcycle assembly plant outside of Germany, though the company does share facilities in Manaus, Brazil with local manufacturer DAFRA Motos.

Long-haul touring models have yet to receive Road Glide and Street Glide updates Harley-Davidson recently updated its Street Glide and Road Glide models, introducing a number of changes including new fairing designs with integrated lighting. While not every one is a fan of the new batwing or shark nosed fairings, it does seem odd that the new fairings hadn’t yet made their way to the Road Glide Limited and Ultra Limited models.
