BMW Other description

2005 Bmw F 650 GS, DO IT ALL! - Narrowly focused sportbikes to the left, massively overwrought tourers to the right...is there any place left for the simple, do-it-all motorcycle? Sure there is, and far from becoming an endangered species, the lightweight enduro - a kind of motorcycle that embodies off-road capabilities alongside roadworthy manners tailored to please experienced and beginning riders alike - has become immensely popular around the world. Between 1995 and 2003, BMW has sold more than 110,000 F 650s, with 32 percent of the latest versions going to female riders worldwide). Whats more, some 21 percent of F 650 buyers were new riders. And now, for the 2005 model year, BMWs entry in the amazing category returns refined, refreshed and ready to do business. Crossing continents, crossing boundaries. No motorcycle can do everything, but the BMW F 650 GS and the F 650 GS Dakar come close. Based on the fundamentally flexible enduro concept, the F 650 line has been carefully developed to meet a broad range of requirements, to enable cross-country travel in comfort as well as jaunts across town with consummate ease. Available in Spring 2005

BMW M 1000 R and Updated S 1000 RR Coming for 2023

Mon, 19 Sep 2022

Updated 999cc Shiftcam engine It’s been nearly two years since BMW first debuted the M 1000 RR, its first motorcycle to carry the company’s high-performance M brand. We knew it wouldn’t be the first, though, after we broke the news that BMW had trademarked the name along with “M 1000 XR” and “M 1300 GS.” What we didn’t expect was for the next M-branded motorcycle to be based on the S 1000 R. That now looks to be the case, as a new M 1000 R model has appeared in vehicle certification documents in Switzerland and Germany.
