A whiskey-fueled writing assignment takes one man on an epic motorcycle road trip through the bars and taverns across the American West in this feature film.  The film follows a character called Sanders who rides a 1960 BMW R60/2 across Arizona, Utah and Montana. With help of fellow traveler and sage, Northway, and a variety of other colorful characters along the way, Sanders gets learns the way of the road and the zen of the bar.  The Best Bar in America is scheduled for release on DVD and iTunes this Spring. BMW Reports Q3 2011 Results

The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
