Extras include: Heated Gripes, ABS, Motolights, HyperLites in back, Oil Filler Plug, Magnetic Drain Plug, BMW GPS (Garmin Street Pilot III) and numerous Wunderlich upgrades including: Ergo Windscreen and Leg Protectors (great for colder weather riding), Oil Cooler Guard, Brake Lever Enlarger and Blue Air Filter. Odwarka Replaces Blesse as VP of BMW Motorrad USA
Fri, 30 May 2014Former Husqvarna President Kris Odwarka has been appointed the new vice president of BMW Motorrad USA, taking over from Hans Blesse who is leaving the position to head the BMW Group’s Canadian subsidiary. Odwarka (pictured on the left, above) will be in charge of BMW motorcycle sales and marketing in the U.S. starting on June 1.

Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points.
