What’s The Deal With KTM Camshafts?

Motorcycle.com digs for the truth behind the 790 camshaft hullabaloo Photo by Sebas Romero The internet can be a cruel place sometimes. Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. 2022 BMW R18B (And R18 Transcontinental) Review - First Ride

Wed, 01 Sep 2021

Fast Facts Drivetrain unchanged from original R18 Self-leveling rear ride height Adaptive cruise control Amazing TFT screen Phone-based navigation Tank holds 6.3 gallons for 304 mile calculated range MSRP $22,590 (base) Riding 1,475 miles to see if the BMW R18B has the bagger chops to ease into this competitive market Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing As I pull the 2022 BMW R18B out of the underground parking of the hotel where BMW had hosted its new model introduction, I wonder if a 7:30 departure still qualifies as my crack-of-dawn goal. Within a couple of blocks, I’m fully embroiled in the peak Denver commuter bump-and-grind. Still, I settle into an easy rhythm of following the mechanical voice instructions paired with their informative visual counterparts on the massive TFT screen.

Adventure Riding in the American West – A Photobook

Thu, 09 May 2024

Photobook “Adventure Riding in the American West” is live on Kickstarter! Olivier de Vaulx, a long-time collaborator with our friends over at Upshift Magazine as well as many other international publications, has launched a project of his own on Kickstarter this week: A 200-page photo book that compiles 10 years of riding in the most remote places of the West. Cutting no corners, as Olivier says, this book will be a 9 x 12 inch hardcover, printed on archival-quality paper.
