BMW Other description

2003 BMW K1200LT, K1200 LT doesnt sacrifice performance for comfort.Buffeted from the weather by a wind-tunnel tested fairing which directs turbulence behind you, the sleek, sexy K 1200LT provides surprising comfort and performance, even to seasoned riders. Whether you re listening to the wind whistle by or playing a theme song to your journey on the 8-speaker sound system, the miles keep rolling by giving you no reason to even think of home.
Like a royal chariot drawn by 100 horses, the K1200 LT doesn t sacrifice performance for comfort any more than a rider is willing to give up a moment of the ride. You ll have 85lb-ft of torque firing from an engine with virtually no vibration. Comfort (heated grips) and capacity (up to a 500lb load) will keep you on the road as long as you want. Add to this the security of BMW s ABS II and an electronic reverse gear and you ll have no reason to ever head back.

2022 BMW R18B (And R18 Transcontinental) Review - First Ride

Fast Facts Drivetrain unchanged from original R18 Self-leveling rear ride height Adaptive cruise control Amazing TFT screen Phone-based navigation Tank holds 6.3 gallons for 304 mile calculated range MSRP $22,590 (base) Riding 1,475 miles to see if the BMW R18B has the bagger chops to ease into this competitive market Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing As I pull the 2022 BMW R18B out of the underground parking of the hotel where BMW had hosted its new model introduction, I wonder if a 7:30 departure still qualifies as my crack-of-dawn goal. Within a couple of blocks, I’m fully embroiled in the peak Denver commuter bump-and-grind. Still, I settle into an easy rhythm of following the mechanical voice instructions paired with their informative visual counterparts on the massive TFT screen.

BMW is Working On An Electric Boxer Motorcycle

Tue, 14 Jun 2022

BMW's electric future may have a nod to its past BMW released its second electric scooter earlier this year in the CE 04, and has made clear it plans to produce more electric two-wheelers in the near future. Oliver Zipse, chairman of the board of management for BMW AG, recently went as far as to say BMW Motorrad will introduce a new electric two-wheeler every 18 to 24 months, with the next model coming in 2023. While the initial models will be scooters or “urban mobility vehicles,” BMW is expected to eventually add electric motorcycles to its lineup.
