BMW Other description
2003 Bmw K 1200 GT, - Adrenaline, attitude and amenities. Put in enough miles and you come to realize that theres no such thing as compromising when you ride. Not if youre serious about it. When youre out there for hours you need punchy performance and absolute comfort. For that, youre going to want the K 1200 GT. Weve taken the sporting power of the K 1200 RS and optimized it for the long haul. Dynamics and comfort, ergonomics and raw energy. You can see it all in the sleek lines and refined appearance of the GT. But wait til you climb on it. Powered by the same 4-cylinder, 130hp engine as the RS, the K 1200 GT runs on patented Telelever and Paralever suspension and stops with standard ABS and EVO braking technology. In short, were talking total control here. p>But thats only half the story. A completely restyled front end, with dynamically adjustable windshield, additional fairing elements and modifications to the handlebars, brings the K 1200 GT to a new level of comfort and convenience too. Add to this a newly contoured heated seat (and optional heated pillion seat) and youre ready for the road ahead -- rain, shine or... or snow. So for the rider unwilling to give up the punch of a sport engine but demanding the relaxed comfort of touring luxury, the K 1200 GT represents a worthy steed for your lifes adventures.

BMW Helps Vertically Challenged
Tue, 02 Dec 2008No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) BMW Motorrad now has good news for riders who either need or simply prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.
