5812 S. Broadway I have a gorgeous metallic red BMW touring bike here. It has the full fairing that really blocks the wind. The BMW system cases are all 3 there. It runs good. It has only 42,XXX miles, but I will continue to ride it, so that will go up. This is the bike for the guy who stopped in last month and said he didn't like my BMW K1200 GT. He wanted an opposed twin. I still have the K bike for those who feel otherwise. Since this is my 4th BMW since last March, I get the feeling that I'm a frustrated BMW bike dealer. I love them too, but I'll part with these. I can be reached through craigslist email, but I don't check it as often as I should. There are also too many scammers using the email link. BMW Produces 500,000th GS Boxer
Wed, 19 Mar 2014BMW‘s most important model reached an important milestone as the 500,000th boxer-engined GS rolled off the company’s production line in Berlin, Germany. The landmark liquid-cooled 2014 R1200GS follows a lineage half a million strong of flat-twin adventure tourers tracing back to the first R80G/S produced in 1980. “As a plant it is a privilege for us to continue building on the successful history of the legendary flat-twin GS,” says Marc Sielemann, head of the Berlin plant which produces the bulk of BMW’s motorcycles since 1969.
