2002 BMW R1100S Boxer Prep Cup edition in excellent condition. The Boxer Prep Cup edition has a steering damper, upgraded shocks, longer torque arm and wider rear wheel. Otherwise, the bike is basically stock with the exception of the catalytic converter being removed and a 2 Brothers slip-on exhaust being added. Both tires were replaced at 19,525 miles and the engine, transmission and final drive oils were changed at 21,400 miles. The bike is hand washed once a week and parked in the garage and on a battery tender when not in use. The bike has never been dropped by me and shows no signs of ever being crashed (I am the 3rd owner). There is some normal wear for a bike of it's age and mileage but there is no damage or road rash to the frame, engine or fairings. No test rides without proof of funds and M1 license. Tue, 12 Jun 2012Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
BMW Scooter News Imminent?

BMW‘s global media site has a new section set up for scooter news. The section is empty at the moment, except for a subsection titled “Scooter Technology”.
