Mega sport tourer? Practical superbike? Whatever you call it, no other bike can comfortably span the continent one week and turn in low lap times at Laguna Seca the next. For a bike with this much power (180 mph top speed anyone?) and technology, it's surprisingly light in traffic. And third gear could get you in serious trouble with the law if you're not careful.

Road test after road test, I shamelessly fawn and toady over all these $30,000 motorcycles loaned to me by the masters of the universe who produce them… I do feel some guilt, but this is really the only job skill I’ve got. Thankfully, sometimes the motorcycle makes it really easy to gush, which is the case with BMW’s freshly overhauled K1600 line.
BMW Partners with India’s TVS Motor, Plans Sub-500cc Models
Mon, 08 Apr 2013BMW announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Indian manufacturer TVS Motor to develop and produce small-displacement motorcycles. The two companies have been in discussions for several months now, but alliance is only now official. Under the agreement, BMW and TVS will work together to develop a new model with an engine displacement smaller than 500cc.
