1998 BMW R1200C, *New arrival* A good classic cruiser has just landed. This one is in Night Black with White pinstripe and has ABS, BMW leather side cases, BMW leather rider and passenger seats, tall windshield with additional wind guards and GG Technik passenger backrest. Very low miles with only 22,779 on the clock. Early R1200C models had a few chrome issues and this one has the same the usual pitting chrome on the wheels and flaking chrome on the side covers. Both of course do not take away from the enjoyment of riding these bikes. Our safety inspection is pending as is the service to get it up to standard. 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão Announced
Mon, 03 Oct 2011BMW has unveiled a new more off-road oriented version of the G650GS. Named for a dry backlands region of northeastern Brazil, the 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão adds longer-travel suspension and wire-spoke wheels to make it a more capable machine for off-road adventure riding. The Sertão’s 41mm fork offers over 210mm of travel compared to the regular G650GS’ 170mm.

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
