BMW Other tech info
BMW Other description
1998 BMW R1200C, We are always glad to see R1200C's. This one is in Night Black with White pinstripe and has ABS, BMW leather side cases, BMW leather rider and passenger seats, tall windshield with additional wind guards and GG Technik passenger backrest. Very low miles with only 22,779 on the clock. Early R1200C models had a few chrome issues and this one has the same; the usual pitting chrome on the wheels and flaking chrome on the side covers. Both of course do not take away from the enjoyment of riding these bikes. Our safety inspection has been done and we have replaced the front and rear tires and front and rear brake pads. We also completed a 24,000 mile service, installed a new battery and flushed the brake and clutch lines. Our inspection revealed the fuel tank lining was not holding up well and we cleaned and had it re-lined. If you're looking for a solid R1200C with low miles and current with its scheduled service this is a good one. Call to reserve this bike. 2014 BMW US Prices Released – R nineT Only $800 More Expensive than R1200R
Tue, 28 Jan 2014If you’ve been considering a new BMW motorcycle this year, then you must be eagerly awaiting the German manufacturer to release its 2014 prices. Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.
Drool-worthy new trials bike
Fri, 25 Oct 2013THIS is the new Montesa Cota 4RT260 Factory, a sort of BMW HP4 of the trials world. Developed in collaboration with Honda, and the Repsol Montesa Honda Trials team, it’s got a 259cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine designed to compete with smaller two-strokes while producing less emissions. There are two versions, the £5,699 standard 4RT260, aimed at amateur-to-advanced riders, and the more competition-focussed Factory Race Replica version, with Showa suspension, at £6,799.
The BMW-Powered Recumbent Motorcycle
Wed, 24 Jul 2013As a lover of two wheels, I like to pedal my bicycle to stay in shape when I’m not riding a motorcycle. And in the bicycle world, much like the motorcycle world, there’s a subset of riders who often get snarky looks from the rest of us. Few are more polarizing than those riding recumbent bicycles — you know, the ones where you’re practically laying down while pedaling.
