n street at gladiola drive This 1996 BMW R1100RT is a 1 owner, low mile motorcycle that is in unbelievable condition with only 36,806 mis. I rode the bike and it was almost the same as the 1 I test drove in the same year as this was sold. It has no mechanical rattles, no drive train lash, is so quite when it is idling you have to check the tach to make sure it is still turning over. Cosmetically the bike is a knockout. There are no signs of being bumped or dropped in it's road life. Tires look to be at least 80%. Riding it took me back to when bikes were much simpler but still had features like electrically heated handlebar grips and ANTI LOCK BRAKES brakes. On the R1100, you sit more inside of it then the later R1200 which you sit on top of. It is a very different experience and speaks to a different design philosophy almost twenty years back. BMW M 1000 R and Updated S 1000 RR Coming for 2023

We knew it wouldn’t be the first, though, after we broke the news that BMW had trademarked the name along with “M 1000 XR” and “M 1300 GS.” What we didn’t expect was for the next M-branded motorcycle to be based on the S 1000 R. That now looks to be the case, as a new M 1000 R model has appeared in vehicle certification documents in Switzerland and Germany.
