BMW Other description

1991 BMW K1, The very cool K1 rarely make an appearance and we're lucky to have a low mileage example. With an incredibly low 5,305 miles this machine is not even close to broken in. We serviced this bike after taking it in changed the oil and filter, replaced the spark plugs, replaced the fuel filter and it has fresh brake and final drive fluid. The bike is ready for the road and is in good condition. We can only fault it for not so perfect cosmetics but this bike is so unique and rare that it is worth investing in especially considering the mileage. Call John (x125) or Brian (x112) at 603.964.2877 or visit our NH location with questions or to purchase this machine.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.

WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.

Is there anything you CAN'T do on an S1000RR?

Mon, 08 Mar 2010

WE'VE SEEN videos of BMW's stunning new S1000RR pulling wheelies, stunting, sliding, racing a 700bhp Corvette, featured in a music video - we've even had a look inside the engine and now the company are using the 190bhp superbike as part of a new-style drag act - but not the Danny La Rue type. Real or not, the clip makes for amusing viewing.  Have a look.
