BMW Other description
This is a 1988 BMW K75 with a Fickler fairing. Mechanically the bike is very good, it always starts and runs very well. The front forks have just been rebuilt and the battery is fairly new. Tires are 20%. The fairing has several wear cracks and the lower mount is not 100%. It is a great bike for the money. I have owned it for three years but it is time to go. The miles are 77xxx call

Seat Time: Falling on Your Face
Mon, 12 Feb 2024Photography by: Matthew McNulty and Justin Coffey After scrolling through endless lists of famous quotes looking for something which really suits my condition, I landed on this: “There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” —Paulo Coelho It’s not the most profound of the options. WSBK: 2012 Moscow Results
Mon, 27 Aug 2012The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
New: BMW System 6 Evo helmet
Fri, 12 Apr 2013BMW has released the new System 6 Evo flip-front helmet. It retains the clean lines of the System 6, while increasing levels of comfort and practicality with a more scratch-resistant internal sun visor, a more robust visor mechanism designed to make operation with gloved hands easier, improved ventilation control on the chin, and a revised spoiler for better aerodynamics. BMW says it has a unique chin bar pivot which reduces the size of the helmet when the chin bar is upright. Weighing in at 1.57kg, the ECE 22-05 homologated Evo is a quiet lid, with noise levels registering at 84-86 dBA at 62 mph. The helmet comes ready for installation of the BMW Communication system, offering a Bluetooth connection to the BMW Navigator IV sat-nav, music players, mobile phones and other BMW helmets.
