Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 2013 BMW C600 Sport Recalled in Canada for Loose Fairings

BMW‘s maxi-scooters have only just started going on sale in North America and already there’s a recall for the 2013 BMW C600 Sport in Canada. According to Transport Canada, the fairing side panels on certain BMW C600 Sport scooters can loosen and detach while moving at very high speeds. In such a situation, the detached fairing poses a hazard to the rider and passenger as well as other vehicles and bystanders.

Fourth-gen model receives significant updates Yamaha announced a new, fourth-generation MT-07, giving it significant updates to the styling and chassis, reducing weight, and debuting new features to its CP2 platform such as selectable ride modes and an optional automatic transmission. As of this writing, the 2025 Yamaha MT-07 has only been confirmed for Europe, but we expect the updates will also make their way to U.S. models.
