Vantage BMW R 75 5I have a single owner BMW R75 5 1972 that was bought in Germany in 1972 new. Road it around Europe for a year and had it servest through the brake in period of the bike.Brought it back to the states to Colorado. 80% of the 43,K miles on it has been hwy. Had it servest every 3,800 mis. The bike is in attractive shape. I have all original parts still on the bike and the side packs or bags are factory and still air tight. Front fairing is in good shape. I have many factory books and filters of all kinds from Germany when the bike was bought in 1972. Looking to seal it to someone that likes the vintage BMW motorcycle. The Fireblade SP was last offered in the U.S. as a 2023 model, and when Honda announced an updated version last November, we were disappointed to hear nary a peep from American Honda about the superbike.

BMW Warns of Potential Defect in 2014 R1200RT Suspension

BMW is issuing a warning to owners of the 2014 R1200RT with the Dynamic ESA option about a potential defect with the rear suspension. No formal recall has been announced at the moment; BMW is calling it a precautionary measure, though that may change in time or depending on the market. According to BMW, the piston rod of the rear spring strut could break.

Odwarka Replaces Blesse as VP of BMW Motorrad USA

Former Husqvarna President Kris Odwarka has been appointed the new vice president of BMW Motorrad USA, taking over from Hans Blesse who is leaving the position to head the BMW Group’s Canadian subsidiary. Odwarka (pictured on the left, above) will be in charge of BMW motorcycle sales and marketing in the U.S. starting on June 1.
