1938 BMW R Series , This is actually a Chang Jiang CJ 750 titled as an '89. This is a replica of a 1938 BMW M1M. It's 12v and runs but needs a tune up and a new battery. It has new tires all the way around, new head gaskets, new carburetors, new clutch cable, new speedometer cable, VERY low miles (odometer is in KM). Aprilia Takes a Shot at BMW [video]

’50s BMW Scooter Prototype to Star at 2012 Concours di Motociclette
Wed, 23 May 2012BMW is entering the scooter market this year with its C600 Sport and C650 GT maxi-scooters, but the German manufacturer almost entered the scooter segment nearly 60 years earlier. In the 1950s, BMW produced a pair of scooter prototypes it called the R10. The first prototype produced in 1953 was equipped with a 175cc Single producing about 8hp while the 1954 prototype (pictured above) was equipped with a 200cc producing about 10hp.
WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
