BMW K-Series description

Here is a close to mint K75 , always stored inside with no fading anywhere. Great looking and running bike. Comes with perfect condition smaller sporty looking hard city bags  . Also comes with a smaller sport wind shield and a larger touring shield.. This is the last year the k75 was made. Great bike all around and this is probably one of the best K75's left.  Took this bike on a  2600 mile trip this summer and it ran great. please ask any questions...will post more pictures also..I have some very good shippers that run through here and uship is a great place to ship bikes..thanks....I took some more pictures and I will tell you the bike is a long way from being clean. Needs a 2 or 3 hour wash and detailing and I gave it a careful 45 minute job.The bike has a few small nicks and light scuffs . The bike has a very small dimple in the side of the tank , less than dime size and very shallow..very small and hardly noticeable.  Also one of the plastic dash fillin plugs below the key came out in Canada somewhere..cheap to replace ..  The pictures don't do the bike justice on how it looks in person, especially when it is really clean. Bike has 11500 miles on it. I changed all the fluids before trip...engine oil, tranny oil .rearend oil...coolant and both brake fluids.Used  Mobile One Synthetic in the rear and tranny. Tire are good for another regular season. These bikes are known for their smooth controllable power, ability to last 200,000 miles is a pretty common thing for these bikes. NEW BATTERY ALSO. Must add the paint on this bike shines just like the day it came out, the small nicks [two or three] could be easily fixed..Bike has never been buffed on or rubbed out with compound. Very new looking in everyway.....just had to mention the small defects. LARGER HARD BAGS IN SOME PICTURES DO NOT GO WITH BIKE...THANKS

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

Öhlins has introduced what it is calling the world’s first replacement electronic suspension system, with a new aftermarket replacement kit for the BMW R1200GS’s Enduro ESA system. Like BMW‘s ESA and ESA II technology, Öhlins’ system lets riders adapt a motorcycle’s suspension with the push of a button. Öhlins’ system works with the R1200GS’s ECU and the existing user interface.

WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.

Adventure Riding in the American West – A Photobook

Thu, 09 May 2024

Photobook “Adventure Riding in the American West” is live on Kickstarter! Olivier de Vaulx, a long-time collaborator with our friends over at Upshift Magazine as well as many other international publications, has launched a project of his own on Kickstarter this week: A 200-page photo book that compiles 10 years of riding in the most remote places of the West. Cutting no corners, as Olivier says, this book will be a 9 x 12 inch hardcover, printed on archival-quality paper.
