BMW K-Series description

Up for auction is my 2007 BMW K1200R Sport Touring bike. I purchased this bike new from Gulf Coast Motorcycles of Fort Myers Florida. All service has been performed by same shop and records are available if need be.

The bike is in very good overall condition and is ready to ride now, needs nothing. A couple of slight scuffs from soft luggage but other than that finish is near perfect.

Buyer is responsible for arranging pick up of machine within 3 weeks of sale from my home in Fort Myers and any associated cost to do so. I reserve the right to end this auction early as the bike is for sale locally as well.

Thanks

Ever had an officer ask you “where’s the fire?” after being pulled over for speeding?  Well now you have a good excuse. This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.

2010 BMW S1000RR – First Ride

Fri, 20 Nov 2009

UPDATE:  Full Review now on Motorcycle.com (with video) We just spent the day ripping it up around the fabulous Portimao race circuit in Portugal on BMW’s new S1000RR supersport literbike, and it’s set to blow away perceptions of what a BMW motorcycle is. With 193 crankshaft horsepower and a claimed dry weight of 404 pounds, BMW says the S1000RR has the best power-to-weight ratio of any production bike. And, by the way the S1000 lofts its front wheel onto Portimao’s front straight at 150 mph, we’re becoming believers!
