1991 BMW K75s This bike is a great survivor. It is far from a show bike, but a good, well-maintained driver. I have owned the bike for about 5 years and put about 5000 miles on it. These bikes are rare, smooth sport touring machines and are very reliable. They have aluminum fuel tanks so no worries about rust in the fuel system. They are shaft drive and fuel-injected. It always starts at the push of the button. Tires are Metzler Lasers and are in good shape. This bike has had regular oil changes and air filter replacements. I am not sure how accurate the odometer is as far as original miles, but it works. As I said, the paint is not perfect and the Corbin seat shows wear, but it is a special old BMW that needs to be passed to another good home.

Ideal for short to medium trips not recommend for cross country bike tours, my personnel experience was that my legs would fell cramped after a few hours on the bike. Back in the Black Photos by Fabio Polimeni In November 2022 Italian trophy brand MV Agusta, wholly owned since 2019 by Russian entrepreneur Timur Sardarov and his family, and Pierer Mobility AG – KTM’s parent company – reached an agreement on ‘future strategic cooperation’, as a result of which the Austrian firm headed by Stefan Pierer would acquire a 25.10% stake in MV Agusta via its KTM AG subsidiary. At the first meeting of the newly constituted MV Agusta board on November 15, a capital increase of €30 million was agreed, denoting the sum KTM had paid to acquire its new minority shareholding in the company. As part of this strategic alliance KTM took charge of purchasing all components needed to manufacture MV Agusta’s entire range of models, as well as responsibility for marketing, distribution and after-sales service for MV Agusta on a global basis outside Italy.

Expect Y-AMT on the MT-09 and other sporty streetbikes Yamaha announced a new automatic transmission system, joining the list of manufacturers introducing some form of electronic gear shifting technology following Honda, BMW, and KTM. The Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission (Y-AMT) system allows for quick shifting without the need for a manual clutch lever, with Yamaha claiming more consistently faster and precise shifting than the latest quickshifters currently available. Y-AMT isn’t Yamaha’s first foray into automatic shifting.
