The last and the best of the K1300S series BMW. 2016 will be the last production year of the K1300S. The bike is all stock, flawless, in an as new condition with 334 miles on the tach. A smooth and powerful allrounder with 175 HP, 103 lb/ft torque. All BMW options: BMW motorsport colors, heated grips, TPM, ABS, ESA 2, ASC, Gear shift assist, Akrapovic exhaust, carbon fibre bits, on board computer, forged wheels, etc. The bike has an existing and transferable 3 year, 36000 mile warranty, valid until Aug 2019. BMW K1600GT Named International Bike of the Year 2011
Thu, 19 Jan 2012The BMW K1600GT has been voted International Bike of the Year 2011 by a panel of motorcycle magazine journalists representing 25 publications from around the world. The six-cylinder BMW K1600GT received a score of 41 points from the jury to top all contenders. Second place went to the Ducati Diavel at 32 points.
2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Side Stand Recall Expands to US
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Earlier this month, we reported a recall issued by Transport Canada for the 2012 and 2013 BMW S1000RR because of a problem with their side stands. That recall has now expanded to the U.S., affecting 2,385 units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stand attachment bolts on the affect BMW S1000RR units can loosen because of a manufacturing fault.
