BMW K-Series description

Fully loaded bike (Navigation, ASC, ESA II, TPM, Sirius Radio, etc.) with many extras (see below).  Factory warranty. Original adult owner.  All maintenance has been performed at Bob’s BMW in MD.  Brand new Michelin PR3 tires (maybe 300 miles on them).  Serious buyers only please.

2013 BMW R1200GS Deliveries Delayed to Fix Suspension Issue

BMW has reportedly delayed delivers of the revamped R1200GS in Italy to correct a problem with its Telelever front suspension. According to Motociclismo.it, BMW discovered a problem where the Telelever meets the steering plate. BMW reportedly has a fix, but it requires some special tooling.

BMW is Working On An Electric Boxer Motorcycle

BMW's electric future may have a nod to its past BMW released its second electric scooter earlier this year in the CE 04, and has made clear it plans to produce more electric two-wheelers in the near future. Oliver Zipse, chairman of the board of management for BMW AG, recently went as far as to say BMW Motorrad will introduce a new electric two-wheeler every 18 to 24 months, with the next model coming in 2023. While the initial models will be scooters or “urban mobility vehicles,” BMW is expected to eventually add electric motorcycles to its lineup.
